Does Christianity Cause Violence?
If Christianity is so good, why are its people so often bad? Across the span of history, Christians have been implicated in violence, war, and acts of inhumanity. In the face of so much pain, can faith survive?
Join us at Engadine Congregational Church (28 Waratah Road, Engadine) as we explore what God thinks about people who do evil in his name.
Families are welcome and refreshments are provided.

Ask Anything
Jesus said that if you “ask, it will be given to you.” Maybe you’ve got a question that you’ve always wanted an answer for from a Biblical and Christian perspective. This event is for you.
Christian Perspective
You’ve probably heard philosophers’, atheists’ and perhaps other religions’ views on certain topics. Come and hear what the Bible has to say.
Gracious Always
The Big Questions is casual and relaxed and we will always engage questions – and questioners – with grace, love and charity.
Relevant topics
The aim of The Big Questions is to answer the culture’s most pressing and relevant questions from a Biblical perspective and as a result, give hope to those who need it the most.

For everyday Christians too
While this event is primarily for those interested in Christianity, Christians who are perhaps looking for answers themselves or looking to grow in their understanding on how to answer relevant and cultural questions through the lens of Scripture are also welcome.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the event free?
Yes, it is entirely free. No need to RSVP.
Refreshments will also be provided afterwards.
I’m not a Christian, can I still attend?
Of course. In fact, The Big Questions is designed to give those who aren’t Christians a safe, casual and welcoming space to ask questions and explore Christianity.
Why “The Big Questions”?
Everyone has to ask “the big questions” at some point in their lives and we try to answer these in different ways. We offer the Christian perspective.
Can we bring children?
Of course. And don’t worry if they fuss, there is a cry room available adjacent to the church hall for your convenience.
